“Adriatic, I Love You”
Join us on a musical journey titled ‘Adriatic, I Love You’ - a concert lesson in seven songs that will take us along the Adriatic Highway through the development of Yugoslav coastal tourism. Surrender to the musical charm and sail amidst contrasts and contradictions, from socialism to capitalism, from worker to holidaymaker and consumer. Join us, and together we will celebrate our love for the Adriatic!
“Adriatic, I Love You” is a continuation of Mark Požlep’s project “Permanent Vacation”. Based on research on the Adriatic Highway, seven songs were created in collaboration with Muanis Sinanović and Igor Feketija, which Požlep and Gašper Piano performed at selected locations along the Adriatic coast for empty spaces and random visitors. In the continuation of the project, the songs are performed in a concert version for the public in collaboration with musical guests.
